London Tries For A 2-Day Tournament In Summer 2001 Dec2000

Oxford Tournament Dec2000
Ten players gathered together on the 3rd of December to play an informal mini tournament in Oxford. The comp. was hosted by one of the UK's most committed players Bud Tilton and was blessed with great weather.
The format was play the South Park 14 (par 49), break for lunch, then play the Headington Hill 9 (par 29) in the afternoon. Highlight of the day had to be Miss Ruth Steele anouncing to her playing partners on the first round that her underwiring was causing a problem. An exchanged glance between the two gentlemen said it all, however this was topped as the lady decided to repeat her infamous 'Putt For You Pants' form and remove the offending article! Both gentlemen showed great mental stamina to remain focused and concentrated for the rest of the round. :) article by Jester Wilson

New 'Unofficial' UK Courses Dec2000
Four new 'unofficial' park courses have sprung up in the South-East over the last few months. All the courses have trees/posts for targets and there are no signs or marked tees which means you'll need a local player to show you around.
