An application to stage a two-day tournament in West London this summer has ben rejected. The proposed tournament was to take place on a public ball golf course in Greenford, West London. It was also planned to coincide with the Greenford and Northolt Countryside Festival. Although this particular application was unsuccessful, interest from the council is encouraging and there may be opportunity to stage a competiton at the golf club towards the end of the year.
