Ruth Steele, the UK's best woman player is leaving Britain and moving to California in April.

Ruth has been a regular on the UK circuit for many years and will be sadly missed.

In a statement to the UK press she said,

"I'd like thank all the people I've played golf with over the last couple of years because I think we have a fantastic group of golfers in this country. It is quite a different atmosphere to golf in the States and I am really going to miss being able to play with you all."
