The London Borough of Ealing have given the thumbs up to a project to introduce a disc golf course in West London.

Supporting the efforts of the Bongos Disc Sports Club and the British Disc Golf Association, an application has been made for lottery funding to install London's only public disc golf course. If the application is successful Ealing Council and the Bongos aim to have a course installed in July 2002.

Even if this application is unsuccessful, there will surely be more opportunities. Ealing Council believe a disc golf course is a great idea for the community. The only stumbling block now is finding the money to install a course.

The Bongos have been promoting disc golf in the Borough of Ealing since 1998. After 4 years they are very hopeful that 2002 could be THE year for disc golf in London.
