Disc golf is on the verge of a major worldwide television breakthrough. We could be seeing disc golf action on our TV's as soon as March 2002.

U.S. based DISCTV has signed a five year deal with the PDGA to cover their main tournaments in the U.S. and the production team are also scheduled to film in Great Britain, Sweden and Japan.

The Disc TV format will be split between event coverage and a magazine-style format, including disc golf news, how-to segments, interviews and featured courses. The one hour programmes are scheduled to run over approx 30 weeks.
