The best womens golfer on the planet, Juliana Korver, is registered to play at the UK's biggest tournament this August.

She is travelling over from the USA to play the Whitcombe Classic in Beaminster, Dorset (August 16-18). This tournament is part of the EuroTour South and attracts players from all over Europe.

Juliana is the current World Champion and over the past four years has been taking womens disc golf to a new level.

As well as a great champion, she is a great ambassador for the sport and is dedicated to encouraging more women to get into disc golf.

Travelling with Juliana is Shawn Sinclair. Shawn finished 10th at last year's Pro Worlds and is looking the bookie's favourite for the Open Division title.

August will be a busy month for both players. They start the month competing at the Pro Worlds in Houston, Texas, next stop England, and for the last weekend they will be competing in the Stockholm Open in Sweden.
